Honeytree Estate Vineyard was first planted in 1970, in the heart of the Hunter. The vineyard takes it's name from a majestic Honeytree once grown on the property which stood as a landmark for many years. It is a small boutique vineyard owned by Robyn & Henk Strengers.

Honeytree produces premium wines winning many awards at various wineshows.

Robyn & Henks aim is to produce the best wine the Hunter Valley can offer.

The vineyard has 23 acres with the following varieties of grapes:

Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon and Clairette.

Clairette is a much sought after wine originally from the south of France which seems to excel in the Hunters conditions. The 1998 vintage was sold out in just four weeks because of this Henk & Robyn decided to graft Clairette onto four acres of existing root stock, therefore the Traminer 1998 has been the last vintage.
