Welcome to the first Teamtalk from Inter-Ject International.A special hello to you all from us here at Inter-Ject International. Please remember that this is your Teamtalk, for you to distribute to your Area Distributors and more importantly to your Inter-Ject Trade operators out there in the field. To make the Teamtalks enjoyable and interesting to read, please send in any articles of interest for inclusion in future issues.
Diesel Care & Cure (Part No 420P)
With the introduction of the DCC in the new plastic bottle we had to
overcome a paneling problem on the plastic bottle. As the DCC expanded
and contracted due to atmospheric temperature changes the chemical gases
caused the plastic bottles to suck inwards. To overcome this the DCC formula
was altered to stabilise the gases. In doing so we now have a chemical
twice the strength. With this new DCC chemical the viscosity is so low
that it can only be used as a tank additive.
DO NOT use it in conjunction with the
LB291 machine. For those of you into diesel servicing the DCC chemical
in the 5 and 20 litre containers has not been altered and will continue
to be supplied as always.
Diesel Care & Cure Demonstration
With the new DCC (420P) in the plastic bottle it
can be demonstrated as follows:
Half fill a test tube with DCC and then pour water into the test tube until
its 2/3 fill. See how it completely suspends the water. With an eye dropper
take a sample of the DCC and water from the bottom of the test tube and
place it on your burning board and burn it as you would do with Interjectron.
Demonstrate its power to neutralise 98% sulphuric acid by once again 1/2
filling a test tube with DCC and then adding up to five eye droppers of
98% sulphuric acid. With an eye dropper apply the DCC onto tissue paper
to show that the DCC has completely neutralised the acid. Remember all
Hydrocarbon fuels both petrol and diesel contain sulphur dioxide in their
make-up.
Ultra
Tune Western Australia head office have committed their operators to the
Inter-Ject equipment after monitoring results from one of their operators
who purchased the equipment last year. David Pedrotti of Quality Engine
Care, (Inter-Ject W A), is very busy at present setting-up the Western
Australia Ultra Tune operators with the Inter-Ject equipment. David is
the newest Wholesaler that we appointed in April this year and has played
a vital role in securing this deal. Tremendous result David.

Rental
Plan
A deal set-up with AGC Finance Corporation allows the end user to take advantage of the Inter-Ject Fuel System Servicing without the burden of tying-up their precious capital. Under this AGC Rental agreement, AGC purchases the equipment and then rents it to the end user for an agreed term of 4 years, for a series of fixed rental payments. The monthly repayments on the equipment are $131.00 over the 4 year period. We are presently receiving one application per week and to date all applications have been approved by AGC. The equipment involved in the rental agreement is:
Please note that chemical along with training and any other merchandise is not included in the rental agreement. The biggest advantage with the package, is because the end user does not own the equipment they can get 100% tax deductibility on their monthly repayments. Should you require any further information on the AGC Rental plan please contact your Wholesale or Area Distributor.
Input from Area Distributors for future newsletters will be appreciated.
Queensland Area Distributors are:
Inter-Ject Queensland was one of 28 exhibitors
at the Infinity Trade Show in July this year.
The function was held in the ballroom of Jupiter's Casino on the Gold Coast
and attended by Peter McGregor, Barrie Purdy and your's truly. 350 members
and wives spent an hour or two inspecting what the trade had to offer.
A dinner and floor show followed. Also a band entertained for the stayers.

Inter-Ject's huge potential has not yet
been fully realised, the best way to achieve this is through customer service,
high standards and hard work.
Due to fast moving technology, it has become
increasingly difficult for workshops to keep up to date with current training
methods.
To assist you in these areas we will be supplying
a fax sheet with technical information on common problems you may encounter
in all servicing areas. For example, XF idle faults, GM 808 computers,
Nissans fuel flow faults and the infamous Mitsubishi Magna 4 and V6.
Should you wish to receive this information,
please forward your current fax number or mailing address to us. (This
information will also be published in Inter-Ject Teamtalk.)
For any urgent technical enquires you can contact
Steve Mezies on (02) 6260 2113. It is encouraging to see that INTER-JECT
technicians are helping each other by sharing information. This will help
all of us to stay market leaders and by having better skills increasing
everyone's profits.

The hook-up with the LB291/2F
Before commencing your Inter-Ject Diesel service...WARM UP THE ENGINE... to enable the evaporating fumes to do their work most efficiently.
Step 1.
Pour 250 mls of Interjectron into the vehicles fuel tank and run the engine
for 3 to 5 minutes. Stop the engine.
Step 2.
In preparation for step 3, pour 100 mls of DCC into your mistlon bottle
and SEE THE NOTE: SPRAY.
Step 3.
Hook up your Inter-Ject machine on the suction side of the fuel system
between the Filter and the Injector Pump as shown above.
Step 4.
Pour 250 mls of DCC into the pressure canister and screw onto the LB291.
Step 5.
Remove the vehicles return line from the injector pump and fit plastic
or rubber hose, onto the return line outlet pipe on the injector pump.
Step 6.
With the aid of the lift pump prime the flow meter and injector pump. Fit
the other end of the plastic or rubber hose onto the LB291 machine and
open the bottom divertor valve. Start and run the engine.
SERVICING NOTE: FUEL INJECTORS ON A DIESEL ENGINE DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY
ONTO INLET VALVES. TO FURTHER ENHANCE YOUR INTER-JECT SERVICE YOU CAN CLEAN
INLET VALVES AS FOLLOWS.....
A. Remove inlet hose from the manifold.
B. SPRAY the 100 mls of DCC in small amounts into the inlet manifold until
the engine falters. Repeat this exercise until the DCC is used and the
service is completed. If the inlet manifold is extremely dirty further
enhancement is obtained by spraying 100 mls of INTERJECTRON into the manifold
prior to the DCC
Step 7.
Run the engine on DCC until normal Diesel fuel colour shows in the LB291
sight glass. Refill the LB291 pressure canister with another 250 mls of
DCC and run the engine for approximately 1/2 an HOUR. Before all the GREEN
DCC chemical is used, stop the engine and close the bottom diverter valve
.
Step 8. Disconnect the plastic or rubber hose from the injector return to the diverter valve and reconnect the engines return line to the injector pump.
Step 9.
Start the engine and run until normal Diesel fuel colour shows
in the LB291 sight glass. Remove the LB291 machine and fit INTER-JECT SERVICE
STICKER to the windscreen. We recommend that you drive the vehicle hard
for 1 kilometre before the vehicle is returned to the owner.
LB291/2F Ball Valve (408)
The Ball Valve Unit has been available for
some time now and is the best thing to enhance your servicing technique
with the LB291/2F machine. From a safety point of view, it eliminates spillage's
when changing from System flow to Injector flow. The only time hoses have
to be disconnected from the LB291/2F machine with the 408 is when back
flushing injectors.
The switching valve, switches the flow from
system flow over to the injector flow meter or vice versa. It can close
both the flow meters together to check maximum pump pressure or for leaks.
(Injector leaks, Regulator leaks, Check Valve leaks).
The diverter valve on top of the assembly has
two optional usages. First to vent the equipment for siphoning the fuel
back to the tank through the external return line. Secondly to dispose
of all contamination out of the fuel system whilst the engine is running
into a separate container and monitoring visually the system flow glass
for colour changes, until the flow glass shows clean petrol.
In the next issue we will bring you a Step by Step procedure for servicing an EFI and Carburettor vehicle with your LB291/2F machine. We will also cover Step by Step procedure for using the Pulse Generator (LB991/V).
If you have encountered a problem on a vehicle, please tell your Inter-Ject representative and the Teamtalk will inform the network.

This is what the fuel system has to cope with and this is why your Clients need INTER-JECT.
