	PRS03 Certificates II & III in Security Operations The Jishin Academy has developed a range of professional development programs specifically for men and women seeking licensing/employment as either a Security Officer, Retail Theft Officer and/or Crowd Controller. The Certificate II in Security Operations is considered a basic requirement for licensing in most States and Territories throughout Australia. It consists of 11 units of competency in total (seven core and four electives). It is recommended that the elective units selected reflect the duties you will or are performing, or as recommended by the relevant licensing body in your State or Territory. By completing an additional two units you will also qualify for a crowd controllers license in WA. Having a Basic or Senior First Aid Certificate is now a required core unit for the Certificate II therefore you will be required to provide this before a Certificated Program can be completed. The Certificate III in Security Operations is considered more advanced and it is designed to provide enhanced levels of knowledge and ability in the field of Security (Guarding). It consists of 13 units of competency in total (nine core and four electives) It is recommended that the Elective units selected reflect the duties you will or are performing, or as recommended by the relevant licensing body in your State or Territory. 	PRS03 Certificate III in Investigative Services The Jishin Academy has created a professional development program specifically for men & women seeking licensing/employment in the Investigative Industry This qualification is considered more advanced and it is designed to provide enhanced levels of knowledge and ability in the field of Investigations This qualification consists of 15 units of competency in total (twelve core; three electives from a specialist field) - Single units of competency are available at competitive rates. Download IMPORTANT MESSAGE If YOU are already working as an investigator then you may readily qualify for a full or part qualification. Skills Recognition is as an option cheaper - though it will take some work from your end!

The program is offered over four days as onsite training and the course covers the following topics:(Session times and duration are designed to coincide with existing Patrol Schedules and Needs) Communication Techniques Working as a Team Conflict Resolution Patrol Techniques Duty of Care & the Law Fees are available upon enquiry... SKILLS RECOGNITION Candidates are provided with a series of questions and a workplace based assignment that can demonstrate to the Assessor the candidates underpinning knowledge and current levels of competency in the selected unit(s) of competency. This process is not simply filling in forms or ticking boxes, it requires a legitimate deal of effort on the part of the candidate in providing detailed information and sufficient reliable evidence to support their claims. 	Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Due to be on offer from May 2006... TAA04 Certificate IV Qualification Upon concluding this professional development program participants possess greater Knowledge, Skills and Ability as a Trainer and/or Assessor and they receive a Nationally Accredited Qualification (TAA04) from one of our partnered quality endorsed RTO's.
