The Western Crusaders beat the Croydon Rangers in 5th Over time 20 to 14.
The Rangers went into half time with a 14 nil lead. But the Crusaders came back
fighting Glen Parke
then throw 2 TD and with a 2 point conversion tied it all up. Both teams tried
to punch in the winner but
after close to 1 hr of overtime Quarter Back Glenn Parkee throw the winning
TD pass to Tal Brown on a corner.

Western Crusaders V Bondi Raiders (NSW Champions)
First Quarter
Crusaders scored on the opening drive with Glen Parke taking the ball into the endzone with a quarterback keeper from the 1 yard line, PA was no good. Bondi replied later in the quarter with a 35 yard pass and the attempted 2 point PA was no good
Second Quarter
Crusaders Scored with Lance Willie taking a toss left in for a touch down from 15 yards out, PA was good. Bondi 45 yard fumble recovery for TD 2 point conversion was good. Bondi take the lead by 1.
Third Quarter
Late in the third crusaders pushed Bondi to their own goal line with 2 sacks then followed up with a safety 2pts. Crusaders back in front by 1.
Fourth Quarter.
Crusaders had 2 Touch Downs (TD) disallowed 1 after a block in the back and another on a hold. Bondi were unable to really get out of their on half.
Crusaders take out the Southern Cross Cup and are now the No. 1 Ranked Club in Australia
Both teams agreed that it was the best game they had played in years.
