Capillosa abuts Sandford Rocks Nature Reserve on its southern boundary and Nature Reserve A30430 on its north eastern boundary. This gives a combined area of about 2100 ha of continuous bushland. After purchasing Capillosa (formerly Taddy Creek) from the National Trust in 2003, we placed a Voluntary Conservation Covenant on the title of the property with the assistance of the National Trust and the Department of Conservation and Land Management, WA. The property is also registered with the Land for Wildlife Scheme, run by the Department of Conservation and Land Management. The intention of the covenant is that the virgin bush on Capillosa will never be cleared.
