I develop and apply techniques for starting the learning process in the training session so that it is carried on back in the workplace...

Feel free to download and use the structured exercises, experiential activities, articles, visuals, energizers, Tales Trainers Tell, Tricks Trainers Trade and many other resources in your training programs.

All I ask in return is some feedback and maybe some suggested modifications.

Of course, if you would like me to design something that is not available free to the rest of the world, contact me.

I am also happy to present seminars using experiential learning principles for the people who who are important in your organization, conduct workshops with your trainers and to deliver keynote speeches at your conferences.

These are just some of the subject areas that I deal with:

Induction and orientation , Presentation skills, Time management, Project management, Team building, Innovation, Conflict Management, Benefiting from change, Public Speaking, Managing to grow

Think about this

How do you excite people about training if their most positive memory of a classroom is leaving it for the last time?

In 1990 I published my first book: Making Learning Fun, a collection of structured exercises for adult experiential training with a focus on achievement.

Since then, I have published another book of training activities, Making Team Learning Fun and have developed programs for hundreds of clients throughout Australia. I have also spoken at training conferences in the USA and New Zealand.

These books have both sold out, however my collection Making Learning Fun Again will shortly be available as a free PDF download on this site. E-mail me so that I can let you know when it is available.

Although I am based in Sydney, Australia, I am willing to travel, and the cost of a return air fare to anywhere in the world is probably less than the daily rate of many less creative training designers.

Since I discovered the internet in 1994, I have been a regular contributor to list serves and newsgroups dealing with adult education. My ideas have received international acclaim.

I am not interested in playing party games in a classroom. The objective is learning, the technique is fun.

The activities came from twenty years experience in management of highly productive operations and since 1987, the programs that I have developed for clients as a consultant.

Many of these activities are available free from this site.

I believe that projected visuals can hinder rather than help learning. Examples of the visuals that I include in my programs can be viewed and downloaded from this site.

Do you need a story to enhance your message? Check the collection of Tales Trainers Tell

I have also jotted down a few of the lessons that I have learnt from the front of the room. I like to think of them as Tricks Trainers Trade.

You can share all of these materials at no charge.  All I ask is that you let me know how they were used, where, and how they went.

If you would like me to Make Learning Fun for the people that are important to your organization, see examples of the programs that I have developed for my clients and contact me for further information.

If you are searching for an activity to meet a particular need in your training programs, I can help you through the internet and e-mail.
