Welcome to the Multihull Yacht Club of South Australia.

Multihull sailing - fast and on the level!

This site is dedicated to the promotion of multihull sailing in South Australia.

The inland and coastal waters of South Australia are ideally suited for multihull
sailing. The lakes and rivers provide flat water and many achorages in the Gulfs
and inlets are shallow, allowing multihulls to anchor in close. The winds are
predictable and strong during summer and more gentle breezes predominate
in the winter months.

There are many multihulls in South Australia with boats based mostly in
Adelaide at the CYCSA and at Goolwa at the Goolwa Regatta yacht Club - please browse through our Boat album to see just a few of them.

The aim of the Club is to foster the sport of multihull sailing, cruising or racing,
both competitively and socially. Members sail on catamarans and trimarans
of varying sizes and configurations.

The Club meets regularly on the third Monday of alternate months at the
Brecknock Hotel, Adelaide. On alternate months we have sailing or related
activities at a variety of times and locations.
