The core individual skills of waterpolo are obvious. Athletes have to be able to swim, handle the ball, catch/pass and throw; move in he water using the legs, and watch the ball. But how good do your athletes need to be?

What is a good training program to have them swimming fit when they most need to be? How can they develop good Catching/PassingThrowing skills and habits. How can we get athletes to feel confident with their ball handling skills? Drills to increase leg strength and mobility can be boring. What are some that could spice life up a bit? Does anyone know how to get athletes to keep their heads up and watch the ball?
