I was the goalkeeper for the Australian team at the Cali, Colombia World Championships 1975; Montreal, Canada Olympic Games 1976; and the Berlin, Germany World Championships 1978.

I played for Triton, WA and Australia during the 70s. (and various other teams after that but without distinction I have to say)

I have coached A grade (Triton, Somerset, Wanneroo) in Western Australia and am currently coaching a group of u/14s for Triton.

My wife, Julia, and I have three boys – Andrew (12), Alexander (8) and Luke (6). We live in a northern suburb of Perth WA.

I am executive director of Mercator Software in Perth. We develop Kidmap, Schoolmap and Profiler – software all used to manage and improve performance of kids, schools and teachers.

I travel often because of business, mainly through Australia and the USA, and would like to come and watch your water polo if at all possible!

At the moment, we are gearing up to have ANOTHER Masters tournament in Perth, so I am trying (unsuccessfully) to both

1. get my time for a 50m freestyle down, and
2. remember how to block shots

so that I can get a game doing one thing or another. I figure I’m a good chance as long as I can remember how to stop shots – I’m sure no-one will notice, or care, if I actually do or not.
