Get a good number of these and you'll give your team a good chance to win!

Principles
PSG – press – sweat – GO (press the opposition, sweat on a turnover – sprint)
Fastbreak at every opportunity.
Move the ball into the strike zone as quick as possible.
Anticipate
Always remain an threat.
Take the right option when pressed.
React quickly to change of possession.
Keep your head up and look for open player.
Read the fastbreak situation.
Expect the team fastbreak strategy to happen.
If you’re not the breaker, be the linker!
Create offensive mismatches
If you’re not in good position – don’t shoot. Be patient.
Keep the Fastbreak under control.
How do you get fastbreaks?
  1. the opposition commits Offensive fouls.
  2. a shot is taken from a bad angle.
  3. an outside (or any) shot is saved safely.
  4. Steals (bad passes).
  5. the CF is swum off

Drills

Loopy In general matchplay conditions, the scorer of any goal sprints to the side of the cage, giving the new attacking team a fastbreak opportunity. On reaching the end of the pool, the scorer turns and chases the break. The drill should be fastbreak after fastbreak. Keep quarters short and intensity high.
