Rules and Interpretations

This section isn’t intended to go through the set of rules; it is to be a place where a discussion of changes to rules and interpretations can take place. Rule interpretations affect skill development and game strategies.

For example :
1) the interpretation that referees should not give easy mid-court or wing fouls means that protecting the ball under pressure will need to be more highly emphasised. Got any good drills to help with this?

2) The 7 metre shooting rule opens up some interesting offensive options, doesn’t it?

3) What has been the impact on the interpretations of centre-forward play on the tried and true flat wing pick or screen in dead time? An ordinary foul on the centre forward used to be the cornerstone of attacking play. What has replaced it?
