Jila, Painted Waters of the Great Sandy Desert Video now available from Mangkaja

Mangkaja Printmaking Project including the new series of limited edition linocuts and etchings by Butcher Cherel "Canvassing the Country" project Documentary video available now This film is a story about land ownership, shown through a unique artistic collaboration. It follows the creation by the Ngurrara artists of a painting of great significance. Community workshops in screen printing and batik works on paper and canvas locally produced artefacts including boomerangs, coolamon, clapping sticks, carved boab nuts and a large selection of didgeridoos an extensive range of new postcards Pottery workshops and exhibition Mangkaja Arts new exhibition catalogues including •Recent paintings by Butcher Cherel •"Story Boards" Ceramic tiles from various Mangkaja artists
