Mother is a word often used but rarely understood,
For mother is someone who is whole-hearted and good.
She lays her life on the line to help her child,
Not being concerned if you are reckless or wild,
She would travel the earth from end to end,
Doing anything required to help your wounds mend.
Foregoing her life to invest in your own,
The greatest of love through her is shown.
