Who is going on this trip?

Where are you going?
Leg 1: Dongara (Western Australia) to Darwin (Northern Territory) Coach to Broome, then cycle across the Kimberly to Darwin via the Gibb River Road and Kakadu National Park. (1 month)
Leg 2: Nusa Tengarra, Indonesia Fly or sail from Darwin to Timor. Use ferries to island hop across Timor, Flores, Rinca, Komodo, Sumbawa, and Lombok. (1 month)
Leg 3: Western Indonesia Ferry from Lombok to Bali. Cycle across Bali. Ferry to East Java, and then to Madura. Ferry back to Java. Train across Central and West Java. Ferry to Sumatra. Combination bicycle/train across Sumatra to Pekenbaru. Ferry to Batam (in Riau Islands). (1 month)
Leg 4: Malaysia Ferry from Batam to Singapore. Cycle North up the East Coast of Malaysia. (2 weeks)
Leg 5: Thailand Ferry into Thailand. Cycle North into Thailand through Bangkok to Chiang Mai. (6 weeks)
Leg 6: Laos Cycle across Laos through Vientiane to Savanakhet and into Vietnam. (3 weeks)
Leg 7: Vietnam Across Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). (2 weeks)
Leg 8: back home to Oz

Why are you doing this trip?
Randy and Jody are getting married and this is our honeymoon trip.
When are you doing this trip?
The starting date is set for March 2001. The trip is expected to take 7 to 9 months.
