ALOE VERA

Aloe Vera has always been known as the healing plant. It originated in tropical Africa, where its relatives were used as an antidote to poison arrow wounds. The Greeks and Romans also applied it to wounds. A member of the Liliaceae family and formerly called Aloe Barbadensis, aloe is now a constituent of many commercially made skin care products.

Aloe Vera is revered for its inflammatory action on both the digestive system and the remaining areas of the body. In his book "The Health Revolution", Ross Horne says "There is no doubt that herbs such as Aloe Vera, ginseng and so on , can help to purify or de-fat the bloodstream and improve circulation and general metabolism, thereby achieving in some cases a diminution of some disease symptoms." It is  useful for conditions such as athlete's foot, ringworm and viruses (eg. warts) and enjoys an excellent reputation in use for acne, psoriasis, itches and eczema.
'NATURAL WAY' Aloe Vera juice is extracted from the variety Aloe Barbadensis  (Curacao), also known as the "medicine plant". The plants are organically grown and the juice has not been pasteurised. These criteria reflect the requirements of S.A.F.E.* for living food, which is high in enzymes and of the highest possible nutritional value.
