This was us getting ready for the Cyclone that just missed us in April 2006. Outside is well cleared and the windows taped This is inside as we got ready for the cyclone. Luckily it went south of Darwin. April 2006 Goose Lagoon at the Territory Wildlife Park about 40 kms from Darwin. April 2006. Sometimes it can really rain - this is the wet season in our front yard at Rosewood cres Goose Lagoon at the Territory Wildlife Park about 40 kms from Darwin. April 2006. This is at the bottom of Florence Falls in Litchfield Park about 90kms from Darwin. Beautiful swimming. This is at the top of Florence Falls in Litchfield Park about 90kms from Darwin mbrawarra Gorge again. You can camp at the nearby camp ground which is usually not very crowded. Another picture of Umbrawarra Gorge. there are aboriginal paintings in several sites at the gorge. This is one of the pools at Umbrawarra Gorge. We swim and snorkel here just after the wet season. Annabangbang Billabong is in Kakadu national park. During the wet season its is full of water. This photo was taken in June when it is starting to dry out Annabangbang Billabong has Nourlangi Rocks in the background. There are a large number of aboriginal rock paintings at Nourlangie Rocks. This is a Jabiru the bird emblem of the Northen Territory. This photo was taken at a waterhole on the side of the road in Kakadu The road in Tennant Creek NT This is from the top of the Ferris Wheel at the Royal Darwin Show held each July Believe it or not this shot was taken on the grass just outside Tim's on the Bay. Guess he had just been out walking after lunch. This water monitor was about a metre long. The Darwin Botanic Gardens are sma;ll compared to some others but they manage to pack a lot in that small space. Even better Cooper can come as well.We often come here for a walk or picnic. This is Burnett House, one of the original Darwin style houses.You can come here on Sunday afternoons and have afternoon tea. The Esplanade fronts on to the harbour and is the hotel strip as you can see. This is Darwin from East Point This is now Seafood on Cullen, Used to be Tims on the Bay, but known to us as The Crab and Mussel Place. caitlin's favourite place to eat in Darwin Darwin Stokes Hill Wharf before the Wharf Development project cluttered up the foreground Go to Main Page
