What VHF+ bands are you active on 50, 144 and 432 MHz
Favourite VHF+ band 50 MHz
Favourite VHF+ mode FSK441
Favourite VHF+ propagation mode AE
I got started in radio when in 1957 I built a transistor BC RX for a high school country stay (it worked!).
What I like most about VHF+ DX is It's not every day one can do it
Toughest thing about VHF+ DX is  Knowing the band openings
The best set up I have had for VHF+ DX is 4 ele 100W on 50 MHz, 10 ele 60W on 2m, 19 ele 50W on 70cm
Favourite station to contact VK7MO - very helpful and knowlegable
Most memorable contact and why ZL3TY in FSK441 on 2m during the Leonid Meteor shower of 2002 using 60W and a 5 element homebrew yagi
Most memorable propagation opening or condition and why An autumn morning in DL in the 70s when lots of G stations were on all repeaters
People most admired in AR The ones who try new things
I'm really good at Improvising
I'm really bad at Getting the last half dB gain out of a home made antenna.
Favourite music Country
Favourite TV show Medium
Favourite food Chinese
Favourite drink Red wine
What really annoys you People who "know it all", but are never QRV
I wish I could stop Arguing with the above people
Biggest regret None
I hope I never have to Give up the hobby
Smartest thing I've ever done Starting with digital modes
Dumbest thing I've ever done Not putting a bleeding resistor in my 1,600V power supply...
Best advice I've ever had Use CW!
Advice to new VHF+ DX'ers Just DO it, even with QRP and a 2 element on a montaintop!
Future VHF DX goals Do some /P work
