1st contact on
28/7/61
with Les VK5AX on 288Mhz. Les was my mentor who put endless hours in
teaching and assisting me as a youth to obtain my license.

Boxing
Day 2003 with ducting on 2m east & west from my QTH.
To the west I contacted several
Perth
stations via 6RMS repeater as well as Leigh 2KRR via
6RMS (about 5000 Km round trip). To the east many Victorian repeaters were
workable and I made contacts via the Mt Ginini
