All you really need to know is this: I am Sean. I am 18 years beyond birth. I am Australian. I lived in America and I wrote about it. Hence this site. You can go now, if you want.
Sometime late in 2000, my family moved to San Diego, California. The Royal Australian Navy sent my dad there, and so off we all went (My first time overseas).
ArwonOnline was born in about March of 2001. In the early days, it was mainly about me venting, serving as a way of dealing with culture shock. Hence the title "Rants" which has stuck around even though it's not really a good description of my later pieces.
Since then though, this site, and my writing, has evolved somewhat. After about a half dozen URL changes, it's become what you see before you.
In late 2002, my two years in the US was over, and it was time to return to Australia. So here I am, back where I started from, with little more than memories and a new persepctive to show for it. Oh, and all this website stuff, too.
