Latest Update - 17/8/2004

Issue 10 has now been released.
Click on "Current Issue" link for details.

Australian Journal of Railway Modelling is a semi-regular publication intended to promote and encourage the modelling of Australian railways. Practical articles blending prototype and modelling fill approximately 90% of each 48-page issue. Most issues contain 4 colour pages. While there are a small number of advertisements, the Journal is not a vehicle for selling advertising.

The articles are profusely illustrated with photos, diagrams and plans and they emphasise the description of techniques and an explanation of how to do things. Because the content is focused on modelling, serious modellers irrespective of prototype and scale have found the Journal relevant.

The style of the Journal appeals to modellers with varying levels of experience. Many articles have received favourable comment from both novice and experienced modellers.

For some articles, special parts have been commissioned to make what would otherwise be difficult scratch-building projects much simpler. Those components still available can be sourced through the adjacent link.

A testimonial: "AJRM may not have the number of pages of other magazines but I personally find the content more useful, fulfilling and value for money. Thank you for a great magazine and a great read."
