Putting my first painting into an exhibition. It was exciting but nervous being on public display for the first time.
My Comments
Contemporary art allows me the freedom to explore, escape, and relax. It is something
you "just do" and in the end if someone likes it besides yourself, that's great, if not who cares?
I have been painting in one way or another for some time now and still get excited when the ideas in my head
turn out on the canvas, paper etc....
Best of all though is the friendship and mentorship the CQCA has been for me. I have been exposed to
all kinds of creative mediums, some conventional, some not. In the end, a mark is a mark and how you created
it is just as important and fulfilling as what you created.
