Back To Basics is the name of the warm-up track and it's the theme for the whole class - the new release is all about authenticity, embracing the athleticism of the programme and working hard to get results.

We've got some great music for the new class but it's not overpowering. I want to keep the focus on the workout in terms of technique, keeping transition times to a minimum and feeling the full physicality of the programme.

Instructors need to cue the back-to-basics message in the warm-up - it's a cruisey sound for openers. Then it's time to hit the quads and set up a great work ethic for the rest of the class.

Sweetest Poison is a great song out of Germany for the chest track. Get it right, then get busy with the singles as you work through towards the push-ups at the end.

Then make sure your class members "go for gold" in the back track. E Type's Olympia is all power and drama and a really motivating sound.

Dips are back in the house for triceps, with the powerful Galvanize from The Chemical Brothers to follow for the biceps. Stay in sync with the music and go slow for fast results.

The new lunge track is another peak that really gets the heart pumping after the isolation work in the arms. Stay in control and hunt for a little more depth.

Then hit the shoulders with lots of plate work this time. It's achievable - but only just!

Optional plate work continues for the abdominals and we've rounded out the class with an awesome cool-down from Krypteria.

Time to revisit the essence of this great programme - through the music, the moves and the challenge and rewards of a real weights workout experience.Instructors will feel it from the "get go". We're putting the muscles under a bigger load for longer through the working tracks and putting a real bite into bottom half squats and tricep kickbacks. Check out the science around these in the technique notes and take a close look at the coaching tips.

Participants will also come face to face with the real essence of BODYPUMP in the release that brings up the programme's 14th year. Getting to the end of this one is an achievement in itself! It's all good from the warm up, where Joana Zimmer's cruisy I Believe gets you mentally prepared and hungry for the workout.Then rip into the leg work with Rogue Traders' Voodoo Child. This track's a huge calorie burner and a great foundation for the rest of the class.

Get ready, get set, get active is the call for the chest track. You need to open your heart to nail this one, so take all the help you can get from the familiar sounds of Fine Young Cannibals' She Drives Me Crazy. Annie Lennox sweetens up the music in the back track.Before we hit the deck for triceps and a big focus on kickbacks with a cool tune from Benny Benassi. Grit your teeth and go for gold with the biceps. Just another eight more reps to go! And enjoy a Wonderful Life with Tina Cousins in the lunges.

Shoulders are all about platework this time - you'll need to dig deep and maybe get a bit angry for those side raises and overhead presses. Hit the abdominals with Blue Lagoon and cool down with Robbie. And don't forget the bonus track this time round. Spirit In The Sky is a biceps Christmas cracker.

The new release warms up with the uplifting Come To Me from Tina Cousins - now is the time to check your posture and technique for the specialist tracks to come.Then we hit the leg muscles for a big calorie burn-up and heart rate raiser. Infernal's From Paris to Berlin is a great tune for inspiring the workout and freeing up those happy endorphins. Push It brings with it some challenging tempo changes in the chest track and you'll need all the recovery you can get in the back track - the four working phases are hard graft.

It's packed with great new songs and more ways to get the most out of this incredible weights-based workout. A special focus on shoulder alignment will help people engage their muscles more effectively and develop better posture - both during the class and in daily life. A new move combining frontal and lateral raises is fun to do and delivers the goods in shoulder conditioning. Pumpers warm up to upbeat I'll Be Your Light from Kristine W and start to feel the load with Republica's Drop Dead Gorgeous in the squats. Love Shack is an awesome tune for the chest work and Motiv8 do just that with Riding on the Wings in the back track.
