PRESIDENT'S REPORT

RON BOUTILLIER This years aquarium display at the Newcastle Show was a great success, with the introduction of the "Theme tank Displays" for the first time. Our junior members embraced this section of the show with some very imaginative displays. "Well done", I'm sure this section of the show will get better each year in the future. Overall the standard for displays has lifted, this is very encouraging and should pave the way for an excellent show in the year 2000. To all who participated in this years show, A big Thank-you!, your effort is greatly appreciated. SECRETARY/TREASURER'S REPORT

BRETTROSS Membership fees due NOW. Could you please send your fees of $10.00 to P.O. Box or to me at the next meeting. We have had another very good 1999 Newcastle Show many thanks to those members who helped or showed fish. I would like to thank TFH Australia for their sponsorship of the show. Members why not start planning for your fish display for the Newcastle Show to be held in March 2000. PUBLICITY OFFICER REPORT:

IRENE Thanks for everyone who sold chocolates again for the club. Alan Ross, one of our junior members sold six cartons by himself that is 120 boxes of chocolates, well done Alan, I hope soon we will have enough money to purchase the photocopier that we need desperately. I look forward to having more fundraising activities throughout the year.
