My Sewing  Projects

Every design is machine sewn, mostly on a plain calico base, to test and ensure satisfaction. Website pictures of designs are scanned test pieces, not pictures generated from digitizing software. 

Collections are available in most popular machine formats. I digitize using Husqvarna 3D Professional software, and sew with a Husqvarna Designer SE and a Janome 350E.

Design Details: Designs have been digitized using Husqvarna Plus and Husqvarna 3D Professional software.  A .text colour file is included, specifications files are also supplied in .jpg format. Conditions: My design files are not to be re-sold, exchanged or given. 

Suitability: All designs are sold in formats suitable for use in domestic digital sewing machines - they may not be suitable when converted to other formats for use in industrial digital sewing machines. 

Responsibility: While every care was taken by me digitizing each design, I will not accept responsibility for any failure or damage caused by using my designs. 

Delivery By Post: CDs are mailed when payment is received.

We both grew up in the coal mining City of Lithgow, known as the "Gateway to the Central West". The convict-built road across the Blue Mountains from Sydney to Bathurst passed through Hartley (near Lithgow), resulting in pioneer families taking up permanent residence in the district. I have researched many of these Hartley and district pioneer families - some are Edna's ancestors.

My "Pioneers" database currently contains over 160,000 names. Many belong to families who lived in the Central West, Hawkesbury-Nepean Districts, the Mid-North Coast region  from Taree, Port Macquarie and Bellingen in NSW. Should you have an ancestor, or an interest in a family from these areas, perhaps I have them on file. Feel free to contact me for assistance with your research.
