About our Community

Burnside Country Fire Service is an active organisation within the Burnside community. Our time is not only spent attending emergency incidents, but we also dedicate many hours to educating other organisations and community groups on fire safety and awareness. We believe that our commitment to schools, scouts and other 'youth' organisations will assist us and the broader community in future years.

Our community spans from:

  • Cnr Glen Osmond and Greenhill Roads; across to
  • Portrush and Magill Roads; up to
  • West of Old Norton Summit Road; along the foothills to
  • South Eastern Freeway (Eagle on the Hill).
