Take Speedo readings from  Manilla,  take the Barraba road to the north at 36.6 km turn right towards Crow Mountain, 44 km  cross over top end of Split Rock Dam (check waterbirds).

Continue further on to look for Regents and birdwatching in the  Woodsreef area.
