2 Manilla Weir
| From the Post Office head east along Strafford
Street for 1 km turn left on the track located between playing fields
leading to the Manilla Weir. In amongst the magnificent gum trees look
for nesting parrots and Honeyeaters. Flocks of water birds can sometimes
be seen on the playing fields. |

| This is a popular picnic spot with
lots of gum trees ( River Red Gums) along the banks of the Namoi
river. It is within easy access of the Manilla town. |
