   Leo Griffin

Leo Griffin was born in 1921 in a small town in northern Victoria, Australia, and at the age of 16 he entered the Catholic Religious Congregation of the Christian Brothers.  Over many years, he taught subjects such as English, French, and History to junior secondary classes in schools and colleges mainly in Victoria, Australia.  They were hard times, but during the 1940s and 1950s, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Melbourne.  In the early 1960s, he attended the Jesus Magister Institute in Rome for advanced studies.  Leo Griffin also worked in the training colleges of his Congregation.
