LEARNING TO DIGITISE WITH ARTISTA |
![]()
HI
My name is Charlie and I would like to thank you for visiting my site. I have been digitising for a number of years with both PC Designer and later with Artista. The Artista program I have found to be far more user friendly. However after saying that, and being in contact with people who are struggling with Artista, I decided that just like all instruction manuals, written by the people who produce the programs that they expect you to be computer literate, and that there needed to be a manual which would explain and show in simple terms how to digitise. From these simple beginnings evolved the books which I am offering to help overcome this problem.
Are you one like many that have become so frustrated and put the whole thing in the too hard basket? What a waste!! I have known people who have even "Uninstalled" the program and shoved it into a cupboard. Now you can renew your acquaintance with Artista, Enjoy the Challenge and produce designs as good or if not better than the professionals. The satisfaction and the realization of your talents will simply amaze you. I have one philosophy "Do Not Become Overwhelmed Treat It As Fun And Enjoy Yourself".
The beauty with Artista, is that you are not limited if you have a Pfaff, Brother, Husqvarna/Viking, Singer, Janome, Tajima, Melco or Deco machine, you can design with Artista and then convert to your machine's format. My wife and I had a Pfaff and, I decided that I wanted a program that offered more features, so, I researched nearly all the other machines software and committed myself to the Artista program. I have never "look back". I must confess that we did then purchase a Bernina 180 Embroidery Machine. Believe it or not both machines get a thorough work out, but all designing is done on the Artista program.
Just to clarify the above paragraph both my wife and I belong to an Embroidery Club, and in that club although the members own Artista, there are different brands of machines owned and all achieved great results on stitching out their designs digitized with Artista.
View the previews of the books and samples pages. I am sure that you will see the simplicity in the way I have laid out the designing and will want to purchase one or two or all the books.
I have included some freebies on the site which I have digitised with Artista, and are in Artista V1, V2, V3, Hus, Pes, Pcs, Sew formats.
