The Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training has announced it will be providing Endeavour Lanugage Teacher Fellowships in 2004 for primary and secondary school teachers of Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, French, German and Italian.

The Fellowships will be for a period of three weeks, comprising two weeks of intensive language and cultural studies and a seven day
field trip.

The selection of successful applicants will be carried out by the relevant State Education authorities. In the case of Victoria, it
is the Languages Strategy Team, Student Programmes Division, Department of Education and Training.
