My Astronomy Images
In Christmas '99 I purchased a low light b/w security video camera from Allthing in Perth.
Until now it has been used at prime focus(no lens and put in place of the eyepiece).
I have been able to get a few reasonable shots of Saturn and the moon.
Jupiter is still a tricky one to image. See Shots for 2002 below for my best so far.
I have attempted some deep sky work with very poor results, as you will see.
The film camera is giving far better results for deep sky.
