The objectives of the association are

  • to promote the cultural, social, intellectual and welfare needs of its members;

  • to initiate, organise and promote cultural, social and intellectual events for its members and the general community.

The association strongly encourages good relations with other Créole speaking countries.

On the 22nd of October 2005, we intend to celebrate the International Créole Festival at Gaelic Park, Perry Road, Keysborough, Victoria, Australia.. Various local artists as well as overseas performers will participate at this festival which will be known as REVI KILTIR KREOL. There is a possibility that the Mauritian Minister for Arts and Culture will be present on that occasion.

It will show case Art, Craft, Music, Traditional Dance and La Cuisine Creole. A corner will be given in the hall for free where you can show case and sell your products. For live concert, dance, shows and other performances, a stage will be set up on the football ground. An entrance fee of $2.00 for adult and $ 1.00 for children will be charged to contribute towards the cost of the festival.

Your support is eagerly sought to make this celebration a success. If you are interested in participating, please contact us for registration of interest and your suggestions.
