Madeleine and Clancy were both born in Mauritius and migrated to their new homeland in Australia since 1982. They have lived in Sydney(NSW), Mildura(Vic) and Rosedale(Vic). They now live in Carrum Downs within the Melbourne's Metropolitan South East area in Victoria, Australia.
Clancy is a municipal engineer, has been involved in Local Government since 1970 and is currently working for the City of Greater Dandenong. His web site www.cjp.net has established itself as one of the most popular Mauritius related web sites. He is a great supporter of all things Mauritian and on Mauritius. In particular, his web site has created a virtual Mauritian Community on the worldwide web. His web site provides all Mauritians and Friends of Mauritius with a presence on the worldwide web where they can all communicate. The Mauritius-Australia Connection web site promotes closer relationships between Australia and Mauritius.

Madeleine is very passionate in the promotion of Mauritian Cuisine. She has recently contributed to the 2004 edition of the Lonely Planet Guide to Mauritius, Reunion and the Seychelles. Her web site Recipes from Mauritius has established itself as the most popular and comprehensive web site on Mauritian Cuisine.

They both enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. Grand daughter Annabelle lives with Madeleine & Clancy and hopes to achieve a career in Information Technology. She is a formidable kid and a great joy to be with. Madeleine can spend all her time in the kitchen preparing dishes that we all enjoy, especially her grand children. Apart from her passion for cooking, she enjoys spending time in the garden, with her children, grand children, relatives and friends.

Both Madeleine and Clancy spend considerable time maintaining and updating the Mauritius Australia Connection web sites with up to date information on Mauritian Community activities in Australia and promoting Mauritian Cuisine.
