Our air-conditioned homestead is set in extensive bird filled gardens with expansive lawns and flower gardens. It has spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, including an in-ground swimming pool, barbeque area with large hooded barbeque under a shady pergola, gazebo and a tennis court. We have a gas Patio Heater for cosiness.

We are surrounded by sheep and cattle studs and picturesque, undulating pastoral scenery. There is usually a friendly horse or two in the house paddock and always our friendly sheep dog, Reggie, who will let us know when you arrive.

You will enjoy walking under the stars in the evening when the sky is brilliant.  There is nearly always a cool breeze at night and the quietness will amaze you, along with the early morning bird chirps.

Bring your friends and enjoy aperitifs with us at the family bar in the lounge-dining rooms.  Dinner is usually served around 7.00 p.m. You may be pampered with good old- fashioned silver service in the elegant Louis XV dining room, with my special old fashioned country, or gourmet meals, using local produce, and local Hilltops award winning wines, or sip champagne by the pool and enjoy a cold picnic supper on balmy romantic nights, on the terrace, beside the pool or in the gazebo.  

 If you are lucky enough to have a brilliant sunset, ( see below ), you can enjoy your hors d'oeurvres and drinks in the gazebo, and/or have your supper there.  You can even bring Take-away and enjoy them al-fresco at your leisure.

We can prepare a BBQ for you, or you could cook your own and BYO.

Our guest rooms are ideal for groups of 8 people. 

You may use our cool room and cook your own barbeque, or be pampered in our dining room.

Special cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay and Riesling are grown in the family vineyard. 

Begin your day with a homemade, hearty country breakfast chosen from our extensive menu, including vegetarian dishes and hot bread. It can be served in the dining room, the breakfast nook or on the terrace beside the Pool.
