WORKING IN NATURE BASED TOURISM Nature based tourism is exciting, stimulating and unpredictable. The combination of the beauty of the marine animals, the picturesque reef and ever-changing environment make the tours both adventurous and interesting. Many of the tours operated by Coral Bay Adventures are dependent upon the wildlife and as such can not be guaranteed. Seasons may vary to when the marine life is visiting, weather may effect the conditions upon which the tours can operate and sometimes in the season certain marine life that we are looking for may not appear. These are the consequences of dealing with nature in its wild environment and not in cages or aquariums. Although we can not make guarantees of sightings of the marine life we do pledge to always offer you the best day out we can possibly give. Our crew constantly makes the effort to deliver to clients the best chances of interaction throughout the day. If travelling from a distance to experience our wildlife that is seasonal, Coral Bay Adventures advise you to avoid the beginning and end of the season as the timing of this can be a little unpredictable. You may also want to allow a few days in your itinerary for your stay in Coral Bay. This gives you flexibility to join the tours in case of weather or no sightings being an issue. Please contact us to find out what our recent tour experiences have been and what is here for the time of year you wish to visit. Or go to our Calendar of Events page in the Coral Bay Information section. Non-sighting policies are in place for the Whaleshark and Manta Ray tours and can be viewed on the bookings page.
