Status of the Alpaca Industry.
The industry has grown over the years the following table outlines the growth in the
number of animals and members in recent years.
MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY VISITS This year we had over 100 university students visit our farm, over two weekends, to gain practical alpaca mangement skills as a component of the Melobourne University Animal Sciences Course. These visits follow a 1 hour lecture on alpacas Chris conducts each year at the university.
