This is a non competition event where clubs set up at lighthouses and make contacts with other lighthouses on various amateur bands.

Meet Ross VK2DVZ Ross is a keen amateur, constructing & using some of his own equipment to operate in the demanding 23cm band. Ross has achieved 2 WIA distance records in this band. 1240 to 1300MHZ VK1DO To Ross VK2DVZ on the 15/1/93 a distance of 542.8km 1240 to 1300MHZ RexVK7MO to Ross VK2DVZ on the 15/1/07 a distance of 1308.2km Great result Ross & the 12cm band may be next

Club members participated in the 2007 John Moyle contest weekend from Blue Knob located in the Dingo Tops national park west of Taree. Although the weekend was wet brave members had some good DX results.
