Welcome to my web site!

This web site will show anybody that is interested a pictorial progress report on the construction of my model railway.    At various stages throughout it's construction I will take pictures showing the various stages and methods I use.   Not all ideas are mine, some are,  It is more than likely that a better way of doing things exists, so if you have some ideas that you want to share then email me.

The targeted audience are those who are maybe starting out (as I am again after a break of a few years) and may be in need of a bit of a hand to get started.  The more experienced modeler therefore may find this site a little 'ho-hum-been-there-done-that'. However all feedback is welcome.

Whilst trying to keep to a general theme for my layout, I am not a rivet counter, so certain things may be out of place (geographically and/or chronologically).  I don't care, it's my layout and I will do with it whatever pleases me.    If I end up with a layout that looks as if it represents somewhere in East Anglia around 1948-1955 then I will be happy.   But if I want to run a class 55 on it then I will !

This site represents the current state of progress on my layout - I will endeavor to keep it current.

So enjoy your visit, please make any suggestions you feel would be of assistance. I am not a professional modeler and my skills could well do with some improvement.
