Avon Valley Veterinary Clinic

At "Farousi" we are proud to introduce our long time veterinarian, Dr. Philip Lawton MRCVS.

Known to our animal, and extended human family as "Uncle Phil" - he has watched over many generations of Salukis here since 1989.   Dr. Lawton is a dedicated man with the magical touch our Salukis  have responded to through thick and thin.  He has certainly been a wonderful friend through both our happy and sad events with our Saluki family.

Uncle Phil did his veterinary training and early practice in the UK before immigrating to Australia in 1989, when we were very happy to 'find' him not too far from where we lived.

Situated in the picturesque, historical WA country town of Toodyay, over the hills east of Perth, the Avon Valley Vet Clinic is easy to get to from many centres. [Less than an hour from Midland]  The clinic offers friendly, and good, old fashioned caring, for domestic pets and farm animals alike.  Run by Dr. Lawton and a small hand-picked staff, you can always be assured of the best treatment.

Uncle Phil is also well practiced with farm stock and large animals, even ostriches !

In more recent times, Dr. Lawton has embraced the highly aclaimed AI process simply known to many in the International, professional breeding field, as "Camelot Farms".  He is the West Australian liason and state representative for the circle of Australian vets involved in this revolutionary AI procedure.

Dr lawton has won approval, and is registered as the recommended AI clinic for the Greyhound Racing Control Board of WA.
