Salute for the ones who have passed over the

Rainbow Bridge

Over the 30+ years that I have now been owned by Salukis, there are a few who made a special impact on my life, and who figure strongly in my Saluki family. For the length of time, there is hardly space to put them all here. So I have handpicked a few *very special* ones to show that where I am now in the breed has come from a solid start, and breeding choices made along the way.

These two "Fan" & "Gib"

were the pair that started it

all off for me with Salukis in 1976.

'Misty' by her show career

She was never bred from

Breezy & Blossom

figure in all my pedigrees

to this day.

  (Right)

"Rafire" daughter of Breezy

sired by "Lance"

(Seafleet Nimrod Farousi)

Rafire died at just over 3 years old

from cancer. She was a

very special girl to me.

"Somerset" was Rafire's daughter

from mating Rafire back to her

granddad "Gibby"

(Ch Yasbiq Malik)

She was mother to "Gem"

"Lance"

Always had something to say!

Then there was "Shahab"

(Farousi Shahab)

Son of Blossom.

Father of Jethro.

"Jethro"

[Ch Farousi Fiddi]

Father of :

The "T" litter, the "S-R" litter

with a total of 7 champions

Gem / Aust Ch Farousi Moorish Jewel :   Jamilly / Ch Kiabe Jamila [ai]

Gem - Queen of Paw & Order Jamila

These girls are behind most of our most recent, greatest achieving youngsters in our 30+ years in Salukis.

Gem was very petite standing barely 24" - Jamila was a huge favourite amongst Junior Handlers
