Fredericks General Store is nestled in the picturesque valley of Jamberoo, about 2 hours South of the center of Sydney. The business was started in 1924 by our Grandparents, Ernest and Annie. After Ernest died my father, Alwyn, and uncle, Eric, ran the business. They continued until 1991, when I bought the business from them. I'm Trevor Fredericks and I run the business with my wife Carmel Goldsmith.

It is a unique business, since the general store, as we knew it, is almost extinct due to the increase of supermarkets and shopping centers. However, through community support and listening to what our customers want we have been able to continue the business, successfully, into our 74th year. I am proud to be the third generation to own the business.
