Follow us on the first Around-the-World flight by a homebuilt Lancair IV aircraft, departing Brisbane, Australia in July, 1998, crossing the Pacific to the Oshkosh Airshow, USA, then to the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and back to Brisbane end of August. Cruising at 300 knots and 25,000 ft, the Lancair IV is one of the most sophisticated homebuilt aircraft in the world today. The crew will consist of two enthusiastic Airline pilots, Gary Burns, the owner/builder of the aircraft, and Alex Schenk.
