1974 March   Inaugural meeting of G.D.A.
1976    1,000,001  World Record Attempt  (unsuccessful)
1981  Sept. M. Springbett  and  S. Williams attend Australian Junior Championships, Adelaide.
1982 Jan  GDA affiliates with NT Darts Council.
  June    J. Springbett selected as reserve for NT State Side.
  July  Beef & Bauxite trophy played in Gove (Gove v Katherine) July Airlines of Northern Australia commenced and 501 singles.
  Dec A. Knight represented NT Junior State Side at Australian Junior Championship at Canberra. 
1983 Mid   A.N.A. and The Arnhem Club Super Singles commenced.
  Oct   L. Kuipers represented N.T. State Side at Australian Championships, Perth.
1984 Aug 

GDA hosts NT Darts Championship.  L. Kuipers runner up N.T. Women’s Singles Championship.  Alan Knight and Ivan Mandusic runners up NT Men’s Doubles Championship. Genie King and Liz Kuipers runners up Ladies Doubles championship.

1985 July Groote Eylandt V’s Gove played in Gove.
  Nov Inaugural Wenches V’s Wimps.
1986 Oct  Gove Vs Groote Eylandt played in Groote.
  Dec  T. Dedman represented NT Junior State Side in Gosford.
1987  April 

GDA hosts NT Darts Championship and first NT State Selection Trials to be held away from Darwin. Genie King runner up Ladies Doubles Championship.

  Sept Inaugural Ladies Singles Competition.
  Oct Inaugural Ladies Doubles Competition.
1988  Dec  J. Dedman represented NT Junior State Side at Australian Junior Championships in Adelaide.
1989 Aug  Inaugural Gove Open Singles & Doubles Championship.
  Dec J. Dedman & T. North represented NT Junior State Side at Australian Junior Championships in Canberra.
1990 Dec J. Dedman represented NT Junior State Side at Australian Junior Championships in Brisbane.
1991   The Gove Darts Association lost 2 valued members and both will be remembered for their good sportsmanship - Jodi DEDMAN and Billy BUCKLE.
Handicap events were introduced and proved to be very popular.
1992     Combined A and B Grade held at The Arnhem Club.
1993    Combined A and B Grade held at The Arnhem Club.
1994     GDA introduced four person per team competition.
  Nov Members attend Gold Nugget Competition in Tennant Creek.
1995     Open Singles Competition with prizes re-introduced.
1997   Gove Darts Association became in Incorporated body.
    Teams split into A & B Grade for the Dry season Finals.
1999   Gove and Groote Eylandt played in Gove for “Red and Black” trophy.
    25 Years of darts in Gove.
2000    Gove and Groote Eylandt played in Groote for “Red and Black” trophy.
2001 Nov Inaugural "State Of Origin" Competition.
2002 Sept Gove Open Singles & Teams Championship.
