GR-2001 Cast
 GR-2001
Cast is orthopaedic casting tape used to allow a broken bone to heal
naturally and protect damaged muscle by encasing the fracture and luxation
region in the required shape. It is made of 70% polyester, 30% glass fibre
and hardening resin, especially useful for the construction of most common
orthopaedic casts, support cast, weight-bearing cast, etc.
It
is 1/5 of the weight of plaster bandage and lighter (10%) compared to
equivalent glass fibre, even though it has strength of the existing glass-fibre
products (twenty times stronger than plaster bandage).
It
is superior to glass fibre in plasticity, mould ability, safety, and
durability.
GR-2001 Cast has excellent X-Ray radiolucency, and it is easy to remove
the cast after use. A conventional cast saw or shears can be used for
remove of the cast and it produces significantly less dust than fibreglass
products during removal. Environmental pollution and waste problems are
minimized by the use of eco-friendly materials.

GR-2001 Cast becomes
hard by after exposure to water, Applied in the form of tape, it is used
to create a rigid orthopaedic cast used to make a broken bone naturally
synthesized and cured. It is made of 70% polyester, 30% glass fibre and
indurative resin, especially useful for the construction of most common
orthopaedic casts, support cast, weight-bearing cast, etc.
It is 1/5 of the weight of plaster bandage and lighter (10%) than an
equivalent cast of glass fibre, though it has the same strength as
glass-fibre products (twenty times stronger than plaster bandage).

Application Procedure

① Apply stockinet and
padding over the region that is to be cast.
|
② Choose the correct
size for the patient and open and apply one at a time.
|
③ Dip it in a lukewarm
water for about ten to twenty seconds and squeeze 3 to 4 times.
|
④ Construct the cast by wrapping spirally.

GR-2000 Splint
 GR-2000 Splint is a semi-cast type of splint used to protect
patient's affected part when something is wrong with their bone, ligament
or muscle. Also used for a speedy recovery of a post procedure wound.
GR-2000 Splint is an advanced splint for orthopaedics, made from a special
combination of polyester and pre polymer.
GR-2000 Splint is an environmentally friendly product, distinguished from
other conventional plaster or glass-fibre splints by adopting combustible
material.

Application Procedure
 |

|
① After opening the bag,
soak the splint in lukewarm water for 20 to 30 seconds.
|
② Wipe-off excess water
on both sides with dry cloth
|
③ Apply GR-2000 splint
to affected area and apply the bandage around splint to fix.
|
④ The entire process
will take only 5 minutes.
