"Stone Cold" Steve Austin was on WWF Radio on Saturday night, which was a one-time only special from the WWF and Westwood One Entertainment. Michael Cole asked how he was doing, and he said that he was feeling fine. He has to wear a "damn neck brace" all the time, but that doesn't really bother him except when he tries to go to sleep or drink a beer. Then came the big question on his return. Austin said that he would be returning to the WWF ASAP. He gave no estimate, because he says he wants to take it day-by-day and see how his neck feels. He still needs to take a lot of X-Rays and other medical procedures to insure that his neck is healing correctly, but that should go well. He wants to get back in the WWF ring as soon as possible and can't wait. Triple H was also there as a host and gave major props to Austin. He said that he hoped Austin could get better quickly so he can finish some business with him. He said that he prayed every day for Austin during the time of the injury and will continue to do so for his quick recovery and return. He said that there is no one like Austin, and he can't wait to face him again. Austin thanked Triple H and returned the same props by saying that HHH is a great wrestler and the best in the business right now, but as soon as he came back, Austin will "kick his ass". Austin then gave props to The Rock for his outstanding ability especially during the period Austin was gone. Cole asked Austin about who he thought would win the WWF Championship Street Match at the Royal Rumble. Austin said that it was too tough right now to decide and they are both great wrestlers.
