The term
laager is an Afrikaans word used originally by the Boer Trekkers to circle their wagons around a campfire for companionship and safety at the end of the day's travel across the veldt. Caravans and campers catered for (unpowered sites). Alternatively you may fancy a Bed and Breakfast staying in one of our comfortable units.
Facilities

Smokefree Unit accommodation consists of 17 single units, 3 twin units and 2 family units, both containing a queen size bed and a single bed. All units have a fridge and air conditioner. Linen supplied.
All guests are welcome to use the shared Kitchen / Dining room and T.V. room.
Modern ablution block and coin operated Laundry.
BBQ and campfire facilities. Wood supplied.
Unpowered campsites. Access to power available on request.
Group bookings welcome.
Well behaved touring dogs on leash accepted by prior arrangement.

Evening Meals
Wiluna Gold Mine offers evening meals at its dining room and tavern approximately 10km from Gunbarrel Laager.
Mine management requires Gunbarrel Laager to book guests in 24 hours ahead of their proposed visit.

Caravan Caretaking
Some travellers would like to explore some of the more challenging journeys in our region, such as The Canning Stock Route, but are justifiably dubious about tackling them while towing a caravan. We can now offer a solution for people in this predicament.
