Guang-Ta Tyres, was established as a company in mid 1997. G.T.T. is the first overseas company to be established by the CHENGSHAN factory with the sole purpose of marketing and distributing the Cheng Shan brand of tyres world wide. The CHENGSHAN brand was previously introduced to Australia by other companies, however the lack of efficient communication with the factory made the sale of CHENGSHAN tyres virtually impossible considering the differences between the Australian and the Chinese market.

G.T.T. was established with the financial backing of the CHENGSHAN factory. Out of approximately thirty tyre manufacturers in China, the CHENGSHAN factory is ranked in the top three. With twenty (20) different series and over two hundred (200) different sizes available, the CHENGSHAN factory produces eight million five hundred thousand (8,500,000) tyre sets per year. By the end of 1999 G.T.T. envisage the sale of CHENGSHAN tyres to exceed two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) sets in Australia alone.

Since the establishment of the Guang-Ta warehouse in Australia in 1997, we have formed relationships with the local and interstate wholesale distributions companies to act as agents for the CHENGSHAN brand. We are currently encouraging enquiries from international distribution companies interested in acting as agents for the  CHENGSHAN brand of tyre and to share in the success of the  CHENGSHAN empire.

Rongcheng Guotai Tyre Co., Ltd (RGT), one of the enterprises under Shandong CHENGSHAN?Rubber Group, is located in Rongcheng City in the Jiaodong Peninsula, facing South Korea and Japan, also known as the "Cape of China" and "the Eastern Hawaii."

Using state of the art equipment imported from Italy,USA, Britain, Germany, Holland and Japan, RGT has the capacity to produce 5 million sets of bias and radial tyres annually. Of these tyres produced over 50 sizes have been awarded Grade A by the Shandong Provincial Ministry of Chemical Industry. The CHENGSHAN?brand tyres are now sold in over 50 countries and regions in Asia, America, Europe and Australia.

Today, RGT is paying more attention to the development of radial tyres while still improving the quality of bias tyres already being manufactured. Up to date 100 radial sizes have been designed, passing the strict Chinese national quality regulations. RGT is so confident of the quality of the CHENGSHAN?range that they guarantee their passenger tyres for 5 years against manufacturing fault, which includes a 12 month 100% replacement warranty.
