We have just bought an Australian designed 14.5 ft sailing boat and are testing it before we decide to rebuild.

Seems to sail lovely. It has good internal space and can be rigged with jib and spinnaker if needed.

Easy to launch and retrieve. I would put the boats weight at about 120kg. Here Brett and Suzanne is helping us launch.

After 25 years the boat seems in remarkable condition.

All fittings stripped.

Seat decking removed. In great shape underneath.

The paint is peeling and there is little protection for the Western Red Cedar. But, don't fear Mr. Epoxy is near We will update the pictures as we make progress. Keep in mind that we are still building Janus and that we will be working on both boats simultaneously.
