3 Day "JUST LAKE EYRE" tour

Departs Adelaide on DEMAND.........Cost $1200.00 per person ( minimum 2 passengers)

Day 1: Depart Adelaide 7.00am - Tonights destination is Muloorina Waterhole campsite.
We travel from Adelaide via Port Augusta, Hawker, Leigh Creek, Lyndhurst & Marree before we hit the unsealed track for 50km. to the spectacular Muloorina Waterhole. We camp here tonight ready for an early start to travel the final 40 kilometers to Lake Eyre.
Day 2:We spend the whole day taking in the sights of Lake Eyre North including a gourmet dinner being cooked whislt you enjoy an amazing sun setting over the western horizon of Lake Eyre North. Before returning to our Campsite at Muloorina Waterhole
Day 3:We return to Adelaide Via a small section of the Oodnadatta track , Roxby Downs, Woomera, Port Augusta and on to Adelaide arriving at approx. 7.00pm

5 Day 4 Night Flinders Ranges &
Outback Experience

Adelaide - Flinders Ranges - Arkaroola - Lake Eyre National Park - Adelaide

Flinders Ranges N.P, Mount Chambers, Arkaroola Sanctuary ,Gammon Ranges N.P, Lyndhurst, Marree, Lake Eyre North, Muloorina Waterhole.

Proposed itinerary Cost $1500.00 per person
(This tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers travelling in forward facing luxury 4WD)

As we are based in the Flinders Ranges we use a coach company to transfer you from Adelaide to Pt Augusta on the morning of day 1.

DAY 1: Depart Adelaide 8.30am on Premmier Stateliner coach service located at 111 Franklin St at the Adelaide Central Bus Station. Please check in at 8.00am at the Premier Stateliner counter to collect your tickets. Arrive at Pt Augusta at 12.40pm, to be collected by myself to start the 4WD tour. Lunch and travel to Wilpena Pound (160km) taking in some sights of interest including Yourumbulla Caves ( Aboriginal Art Site), Hawker and Arkaroo Rock (Aboriginal Site approx 1 hour walk), then up to Wilpena campground for the night.

DAY 2: Very early start to have the St Marys Peak walk completed by lunch time (6 hours 14kms)Then head further north via the Bunkers Conservation Reserve & Wirrealpa Station then head out to Mount Chambers Gorge for our first night's bush camp. (an absolutely top spot) Have a "Bush Barby" including sampling some Kangaroo, make some damper & have a night walk to an aboriginal rock engravings site.

DAY 3: Pack our lunch and walk deep into Chambers Gorge, one of the Flinders most spectacular Gorges, (approx 5 hours), afternoon drive to Arkaroola Sanctuary, where we disconnect the trailer and 4WD around this amazing part of the Flinders Ranges. Tonights campsite is at Italowie Gorge in the Gammon Ranges National Park.

DAY 4: Another very early start to travel approx 300km to the Lake Eyre National Park to view & explore Australia's largest Salt lake for the remainder of the day (mix of 4WD and walking).
Camping at Muloorina Camp Grounds (An oasis in the Outback teaming with birdlife).

DAY 5: Homeward bound travelling via Maree, Leigh Creek, with a detour across the Flinders Ranges National Park, having a 3km/leg stretch in Brachina Gorge. On to Hawker, Quorn, Pt Augusta and Adelaide. Arriving in Adelaide at approx 5.00pm.

We supply all Food, camping gear incl sleeping bags.
All you require is a towel, tooth brush & a change of clothes.

4 Day 3 Night Flinders Ranges &
Outback Experience

Adelaide - Flinders Ranges - Coober Pedy - Adelaide

Flinders Ranges, Mount Chambers, Lake Frome, Arkaroola ,Gammon Ranges, Lyndhurst, Marree, Lake Eyre, Oodnadatta Track, William Creek, Coober Pedy.

Proposed itinerary Cost $1200.00 per person. (Min. 2 passengers travelling in luxury Nissan Patrol)

As we are located in the "Flinders" we would organise a coach transfer from Adelaide to Port Augusta staying at our YHA hostel & start the actual 4WD Tour on the next morning returning on the 4th evening to our hostel & transfer you to Adelaide by coach on the following morning arriving back in Adelaide at approx 1.10pm (lunch time)

The itinerary would be as follows;(after the transfer from Adelaide)

Day 1: Head off approx 7.00am travel via Wilpena Pound taking in some old early settler ruins & a walk to an aboriginal art site.We have a couple of walks to choose from in Wilpena Pound to accommodate our guests fitness levels.Drive through the picturesque gorges of Bunyeroo & Brachina (walk) Then head further north via Blinman (visit the old copper mine) then head out to Mount Chambers Gorge for our first night's bush camp.(an absolutely top spot) Have a "Bush Barby" on the camp fire, climb Mt. Chambers to witness an amazing outback sunset, make some damper & have a night walk to an aboriginal rock engravings site.

Day 2: Travel further north to Balcanoona (rangers station) where we 4WD drive out to Lake Frome (Salt lake) & throw a boomerang & have lunch, progress to Arkaroola wilderness sanctuary to walk through Barraranna Gorge then onto Grindells Hut for more bush camping . Unfortunately no fire tonight (during Fire Ban Season) as we are in a National Park so it's Spagetti Bolognaise on the gas cooker.

Day 3: Travel east to west over the Gammon Ranges (4WD tracks) with tonights destination being a bush camp right on Lake Eyre (Australia's largest Salt Lake) travelling via the outback towns of Lyndhurst & Maree.

Day 4: It's off to Coober Pedy via William Creek stopping at points of interest along the way such as Coward Hot Springs, The Bubbler, Blanche's Cup. Upon reaching Coober Pedy we visit Umoona Opal museum & the spectacular landscape of "The Breakaways".

We then travel express to Quorn via Port Augusta stopping at Glendambo Roadhouse for dinner.

We supply all Food, camping gear incl sleeping bags.
All you require is a towel, tooth brush & a change of clothes.
