Activities

Workshops are held regularly with professional tutors when requested.
Non-members are welcome to attend workshops. For cost and other enquiries concerning workshops contact Ruth Taylor, phone 07-46931235.

An Open Day is held alternate years.

Community  involvement is an important part of the Group’s activities  and displays. Demonstrations are given during such events as Carnival of Flowers. The group provides handmade articles to Red Cross and other similar groups.

Members volunteer at Meals on Wheels; small functions are held to raise funds for Cancer and Leukaemia Research, the Toowoomba Hospice and other charities.

Social Activities:

A live-in social weekend is held in October each year at Perseverance Dam near Crows Nest west of Toowoomba.
This is open to non-members.

A weekend of members only is held annually in May at the Bunya Mts.

A Christmas in July luncheon is held annually.
